The Orchard, Burlington
The Orchard community of Burlington was established in the late nineties and was completed in three stages. Located in northeast Burlington, the first stage of development moved eastward from Appleby Line followed by construction going westward from Burloak Dr. and finally all points in between. It is bordered by Dundas Street on the north side and Upper Middle Rd. to the south.
Housing in this area offers a good mix of prices, sizes and styles. Prices range from approx. $300K to $750K. The community offers three to four bedroom detached homes as well as condominium and freehold townhomes. House sizes start at approx. 1200 sq. ft. While there is an ample supply of smaller homes for first time buyers, there are also larger homes that have in excess of 2400 sq. ft. of living space. The area is serviced with parks and playgrounds, public transportation and Public and Catholic schooling. Commuting is simplified by close access to Hwy, 407. Because of it’s demographic profile, The Orchard is a great place for young families to raise their children.
